APPLETON — The Appleton Health Department will host a free public H1N1 vaccination clinic from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Northland Mall, 900 W. Northland Ave.
Only the following individuals will be eligible to receive the vaccine: Pregnant women; people who live with or provide care for infants less than 6 months old; children ages 6 months to 4 years; people ages 5 to 64 who have medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart and lung conditions, and health care and emergency medical services personnel who have direct contact with patients or infectious material.
The health department will provide free rides between noon and 7 p.m. on Valley Transit for Appleton residents to reach the Northland Mall.
The ThedaCare At Home seasonal flu shot clinic, scheduled for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the ThedaCare At Home location, 3000 E. College Ave., has been canceled, officials announced.
