Evelyn C. Schroth, age 91, Stephensville, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009. Evelyn was born on March 20, 1918, in New London, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Drier) Schoenhaar. On October 14, 1936, Evelyn married Victor Schroth, they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death on November 1, 2002.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Carleen (David) Koehnke, and Yvonne Wagner; a son, Gary (Joyce) Schroth, all of Appleton. Four grandchildren: Gail (Tim) Sommers, Hortonville; Mark Schroth, Greenville; Liane (Chuck) Birling, Neenah; and Paul Koehnke, Appleton; six great grandchildren: Jill Sommers, Appleton; Emily Sommers, DePere; Ryan and Carley Sommers, Hortonville; Aidan and Wyatt Birling, Neenah. A brother, Joseph (Merna) Schoenhaar, Appleton; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, her husband, Victor, her sisters and brothers in-law, Agnes (Ernest) Ross and Genevieve (Mike) Magadanz, and a son-in-law.

The Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stephensville with Fr. John Kastenholz and Sr. Pauline Feiner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends directly at the church on Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

The family is very grateful to all the hospice staff, for the wonderful care they gave Evelyn.
