Crimestoppers: Suspect sought in burglary at convenience store

Marathon County Crimestoppers is asking for the public's help finding the person responsible for a burglary and theft last month at a town of Rib Mountain convenience store.

The crime occurred at about 3:25 a.m. Oct. 23 at The Store, 2409 N. Mountain Road. The suspect smashed a glass door to enter the business and stole cigarettes and other items, according to police. The suspect also is being sought for his or her role in other crimes in Marathon County, police said.

Security camera photos showed the suspect was wearing a blue hat and later pulled a black hood over the hat.

Anyone with information about the burglary to The Store or who recognizes the person in the picture should call Crimestoppers at 800-559-4203. Callers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward.
