HORTONVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Oct. 23
Domestic, a woman in the 100 block of N. Mill Street reported that her boyfriend stole her vehicle after they had an arguing and drove it to New London. He was arrested after a short foot chase in New London.

Oct. 22
Disorderly conduct, an employee at a business in the 200 block of W. Main Street reported that loud crashes and yelling were coming from an upstairs apartment. A woman and her boyfriend had gotten into a verbal argument. The man was asked to leave the residence.

Oct. 15
Domestic, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of Lakeview Avenue. A woman’s estranged husband was causing a disturbance because she would not let him into her house.

Disorderly conduct, an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive on a report of an out-of-control juvenile who tried to head-butt his father.

Oct. 13
Damage to property, an officer was notified that video footage showed two students damaging the cover of a bus seat. The students admitted their actions and were cited. Their parents were sent a bill for the damages.

Oct. 2
Disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle, an officer was notified that a student wrote on the windows of a squad car which was parked at the high school. The officer stopped a truck squealing its tires and spoke with the three individuals inside. One of the boys admitted he wrote “Seniors 2010” on the windows of the squad car. He was told to wipe it off or receive a citation.

Nov. 4
Out-of-control juvenile, a woman in the 500 block of Northridge Drive reported that her daughter would not listen to her and smashed a mirror.

Oct. 31
Domestic/damage to property, police responded to a residence in the 600 block of W. Wolf River Avenue on a report that someone was breaking into an apartment. A woman’s boyfriend had returned after kicking in her door and then punching, kicking and strangling her earlier in the day. He also damaged the screens on the door.

Theft, police received reports that license plates had been stolen off of vehicles in the 400 block of W. North Water Street, the 500 block of W. Cook Street and the 600 block of S. Pearl Street.

Oct. 29
Theft, police were notified that an ATV seat was taken from a trailer in the 400 block of N. Shawano Street.

Theft, police were notified that someone stole walkie-talkies and flashlights and kicked holes in the walls at the “Haunted Hospital” site in the 600 block of S. Pearl Street.

Oct. 21
Disturbance, police were notified that a student hit another student with a board during class at New London High School.

Oct. 17
Disorderly conduct/damage to property, police responded to a tavern in the 300 block of W. North Water Street where a man pushed a bartender to the floor and then got into a physical altercation with the bartender’s boyfriend. The man was removed from the tavern, but tried to get back inside and punched out a window.

Oct. 15
Theft, police were notified that a snowmobile trailer valued at $850 and $20 in gas from a vehicle were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Cook Street.
