Jeanne Chojnacki
Jeanne Chojnacki, 79, of La Crosse, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at her home.
Jeanne was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 4, 1930, to Frank and Helen (Hocke) Krah. Jeanne married Alois Chojnacki on July 1, 1950, and together they celebrated over 59 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, Alois; four daughters, Linda (Dale) Kozaczuk, Hancock, Mary (Randy) Nolan, Nashua, Iowa, Carolyn (Chad) Goldbeck, Holmen and Judith (Todd) Brodale, Holmen; four sons, Mick (Susan) Chojnacki, Nekoosa, Robert (Ronda) Chojnacki, Wisconsin Rapids, Patrick (Cindy) Chojnacki, Wisconsin Rapids, and Jon (Denise) Chojnacki, Rhinelander; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Chojnacki; a sister; and a brother.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1031 Main St., Onalaska. The Rev. Patrick Umberger will officiate. Following the service, Jeanne's body will be cremated and burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, at the Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 401 Main St., Onalaska; and again from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
