Susan Kathleen Boock Ketelsen, 56, Lodi/Green Bay died very unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, of natural causes.

She was born on March 16, 1953, at Beaver Dam, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert F. Boock.

She was a graduate of St. Stephens Lutheran Grade School at which time she was confirmed at St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church. She went on to graduate from Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills and also a graduate of Madison Business College in Madison, WI.

On May 12, 1988, Susan was united in marriage to Dan Allen Ketelsen, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2001.

Susan is survived by four children, Sam, Sarah, Stephen (Joree) and Kyle (Cassie), Angie Ketelsen (daughter-in-law always); five grandchildren, Zak, Abbi, Ellah, Camdyn and Alana Lyn; three sisters, Barbara (Tom) Kelly, Patricia Boock, Margaret Boock; a brother, Robert F. (Rafat) Boock, Jr. and their daughter, Kaylyn; her father and mother-in-law, Harlan and Verona Ketelsen; and her beloved cats, Revy and Ezra.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at DEKORRA LUTHERAN CHURCH with the Rev. Dan Odden officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the service at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Dekorra Lutheran Church, and the ASPCA.

Susan was a faithful Christian and will be remembered for her sparkling wit and great sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her and her love for her family will go on forever.
