Junio, Jean M.

Jean M. Junio, 81, of N4402 Co. B Kewaunee, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at home surrounded by her family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on Nov. 5, 1928, in Luxemburg to the late Dr. Richard and Madeline (Kenney) Jandrain.

Jean married Kenneth E. Junio on Oct. 26, 1957, in Luxemburg and he preceded her in death Aug. 18, 1993.

She was a lifelong member of St. Hedwig Church, now St. Therese Parish.

Survivors include two sons, Martin G. Junio, Houston, TX, Michael T. Junio and Joe Flores, San Francisco, CA; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mary Genosky, Albany, MN, Maureen A. and Mark A. Koch, Ocean Springs, MS; Melissa R. and Chris A. Czech, Kewaunee, WI; Melanie M. Junio, St. Louis Park, MN; nine grandchildren: Kevin and Justin Genosky; Emily, Amber, Jeremy and Joshua Koch and Jacob, Gabriella and Michaela Czech; one sister and brother-in-law: Claudette and Jim Stormer, Pickeral, WI; one brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth. and Joyce Jandrain, Estes Park, CO; a sister-in-law: Barbara Jandrain, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by an infant son: Mark Junio; a son-in-law: Michael Genosky, a brother: Richard Jandrain and a sister and brother-in-law: Collette and Robert Ullman.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. By Dcn. Robert Pribek. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Friday until 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Therese Parish/St. Hedwig Church at East Krok with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Algoma.
