The Zonta Club of Stevens Point will be holding a Used Book Sale on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at the Center Point Market Place. There will be a large selection of fiction, non-fiction, classics, bestsellers and children's books for sale. Proceeds will be used to support the Zonta local community service projects, primarily to fund our scholarships for non-traditional women at UW-SP and Mid-State Technical College. Other Zonta projects include: donation of replacement clothing to rape victims (in conjunction with CAP services), donation of personal care packets to crisis centers in Stevens Point and surrounding communities, a holiday food basket, and the Thailand Project which brought two female students from Thailand to study at UWSP. Zonta is dedicated to advancing the status of women worldwide. Hours of the sale are Friday, November 20, from 5:00 9:00 pm and Saturday, November 21 from 7:30 am 3:00 pm.
