Special teams remain nightmare for Packers

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Green Bay Packers can point straight at their special teams for a major reason they lost as a 10-point favorite to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The Packers' special teams twice gave life to the offensively challenged Bucs in a 38-28 loss at Raymond James Stadium. The first was a blocked punt on a botched blocking assignment that Ronde Barber turned into a 31-yard touchdown to tie the game 14-14 in the second quarter.

The second was an 83-yard kickoff return by Clifton Smith that set up a short Tampa Bay touchdown drive immediately after the Packers had gone up 28-17 early in the fourth quarter.
