Louis Kondro Jr., 82, Green Bay, died Saturday, Nov. 7th, 2009. He was born Nov. 18, 1926, to the late Louis Sr. and Augusta (Nutrick) Kondro in Niagara, WI. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1944-1946. On Jan. 5, 1952, he married Elizabeth Van Boven at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford, Michigan. She preceded him in death Feb. 16, 2004. Louis had been employed with the Niagara Paper Mill, retiring after 42 years. Some of the things Louis enjoyed doing were golfing, playing cards, and fishing in Canada.

Survivors include his children, Bruce (Ann) Kondro and their daughter, Jamie; Dennis (Joanne) Kondro and their daughters, Amy and Beth; Diane (Casey) Perry and their children, Marcia (Bryan) and Kim; and Brian Kondro and Scott Obernberger.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Louis Allen and one brother, Robert.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10th, at St. Mary's Catholic Community on Pope John XXIII Circle off Sportsman Drive, Town of Ledgeview, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 4 p.m. with the Rev. John Harper officiating.
