TOWN OF OSCEOLA — A Campbellsport woman was injured Sunday night when her car struck a tree.

The 43-year-old woman was eastbound on County Trunk F near Woodland Drive at 11:07 p.m. when she veered onto the south shoulder, attempted to steer back onto the roadway and lost control of her vehicle, according to a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department press release.

Flight for Life transported the woman to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

She was in critical condition Monday morning at the hospital, a spokesperson at Froedtert said.

Police believe the woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was intoxicated at the time of the crash, according to the release.

Campbellsport ambulance and the Campbellsport Fire Department assisted with the crash.
