Richard E. Brault

Richard E. Brault, age 63, of 8883 County CC, Sturgeon Bay, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Door County Memorial Hospital, Sturgeon Bay.

Rick was born in Two Rivers, on Nov. 7, 1946, son of the late Maurice and Pearl (Koehler) Brault. He graduated from Washington High School. He enlisted with the U.S. Army and served our country for two terms in Korea and Germany. On April 3, 1971, he married Shirley Ocha Koi in Korea. Rick was a hunter and avid fisherman. He loved watching the Packers and the Badgers, and he would do favors for everyone and anyone that he met.

Rick is survived by his wife: Shirley, Two Rivers; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ron and Dolores, Green Bay and Reggie and Kim, Two Rivers; nieces and nephews: Mark (Kristen), Hales Corners and David, Pacific Beach, San Diego, Calif., Aaron (Jenny), Sheboygan and Aarika (Darrin) Pavlik, Sturgeon Bay. He is further survived by great nieces and great nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral Service for Rick will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Nov. 11, 2009, at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William O'Brien. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends also on Wednesday evening, Nov. 11, 2009, at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.

The Klein & Stangel funeral home is assisting the Brault family with funeral arrangements.
