TOWN OF ROCK FALLS — Vandals covered at least nine roads signs and a monument in rural Lincoln County with lavender paint late Saturday or early Sunday, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
The damage occurred in the town of Rock Falls, along Highway 107 northwest of Merrill. Among the damages were:
• Six yellow road advisory signs.
• A highway clean up sign.
• Speed limit signs.
• Stop sign at the intersection of Highways E and 107.
• The Father Rene Menard monument on Highway 107 at Big Hill Road.
