Kathryn C. Hall

Kathryn C. Hall, 90, of 617 Grand Avenue, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, November 7, 2009 after a brief stay at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center.

Born April 27, 1919 in Marathon City, WI, Kathryn was a daughter of the late George and Gwendolyn Knoeck Ritger.

She was a graduate of Marathon High School and attended the College of St. Therese in Winona, MN, before enrolling in the St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac

Following graduation, she was employed at Madison General Hospital as a registered nurse. She later enrolled in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota and was employed as a Public Health Nurse in Waupaca County from 1945 to 1952.

On October 11, 1952, she was united in marriage to Arelius John Hall in Marathon City.

She enjoyed playing bridge in several groups for many years and was also an avid golfer, gardener and world traveler.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, A. John; her three children, Matthew (Kellie Dworaczyk) Hall, Austin, TX, Margaret Hall, Sheboygan and Helen (Jim) Traudt, Whitefish Bay; five grandchildren, Matthew and Ellie Traudt, Whitefish Bay and Andrew, Sean and Elyse Hall, Austin, TX; one sister-in-law, Arabelle Lovelin, Eau Claire; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Magdelyn Drengler and Georgia Wenzel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at St. Clement Catholic Church, New York and 6th Street. Fr. James E. Connell will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
