Kenneth L. Hanford

Kenneth L. Hanford, age 49, of Oshkosh, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 07, 2009. Ken was born in Oshkosh on July 27, 1960, to Claude and Alma (Krebs) Hanford. He served his country and retired from the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Ken enjoyed fishing and EAA. He was best known for collecting and building model airplanes.

Ken is survived his parents, and will be further missed by his daughters, Chelsea Hanford of Oshkosh, Mandea Hanford of Oshkosh and Makayla Hanford of Omro; his grandchildren, Phillip, Aydin, Drake, Scarlet and Mary; his brother, Allen (Linda) Hanford of Oshkosh; sister, Cheryl Hanford of Oshkosh; his best friend and mother of Makayla, Michelle Hanford of Omro; and his other mother, Roni "Ma" Grosskopf of Omro; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In respect to Ken's memory, friends and family may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 4 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Ken will be laid to rest at King Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
