Delbert "Del" Alberts, 66, Maribel, found peace with the Lord on Thursday morning, Nov. 5, 2009, with his family at his side.

Born on Aug. 30, 1943, in Oconto, he is the son of William Alberts and the late Stella (Crawford) Alberts.

Del married Beverly Cavil LaCrosse on Feb. 14, 1970, in Michigan.

He was the owner and operator of Del & Sons Roofing until his retirement in 1997. Del was an avid deer hunter & sports fanatic including his love for the Packers.

He is survived by his friend and care-giver, Beverly; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith Alberts, Maribel; Jamie and Annie Alberts, Timothy Alberts, all of Denmark; stepchildren and spouses, Cyndi and Doug Dorner, Casco; Russ and Leanne LaCrosse, West De Pere; Kevin LaCrosse, Seymour; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; father, William Alberts, De Pere; brother and sister-in-law, Noel "Ace" and Debby Alberts, Arkansas; sister and brother-in-law, Judi and Russ Leferve, Green Bay.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Stella.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Betsy St. Peter officiating.

A very special thank you is extended to our daughter, Cyndi, and granddaughter, Stacy Srnka, Dr. Goolsby, Dr. Patel and Carrie at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the staff at West ManorCare for all their compassion and dignity given to Del.
