Police blotter for Nov. 8
APPLETON OCT. 25
Property damage: Someone smeared mud on the siding and doors of a home in the 200 block of E. Lindbergh Street.
Drugs: A 28-year-old Appleton man was arrested near the intersection of Packard and Bennett streets with packaged methamphetamine after police received an anonymous tip.
OCT. 23
Drugs: Police seized 39 marijuana plants and growing materials from a home in the 1300 block of S. Telulah Avenue.
Probation: A 37-year-old Waupaca man was jailed for drinking in violation of probation rules. Police stopped him for public urination near the College Avenue intersection with Superior Street.
OCT. 22
Property damage: Someone threw roofing nails onto a driveway in the 100 block of S. Lee Street. A car in the driveway had two tires punctured.
KIMBERLY OCT. 18
Disorderly conduct: A youth reported another youth barged into her house in the 300 block of S. Elm Street, screamed profanities and pushed her. She told police the teenager then slapped her friend and left.
KAUKAUNA NOV. 1
Disturbance: Police were dispatched to a bar in the 100 block of W. Third Street after a fight broke out between two men. Police cited both men for disorderly conduct.
Disturbance: Police were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue for a minor disturbance, involving a man. Police found he had an active small claims warrant and took him into custody.
Damage to property: Officers found a car windshield hit by a BB gun or pellet in the 200 block of Black Street. Police talked to nearby residents and found no suspects.
OCT. 29
Theft: A woman living in the 300 block of Doty Street reported someone broke into her unlocked car and stole some of her belongings.
OCT. 19
Theft: A pair of residents moving out of an apartment in the 400 block of Hendricks Avenue reported they were missing medications.
Burglary: Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Sullivan Avenue after someone partially kicked in a door and damaged it. Police said it did not appear as if someone had entered, and nothing was missing.
Lost and found: Police reported finding a bike in a field in the 2600 block of Nature View Court.
LITTLE CHUTE NOV. 1
Hit-and-run: A motorist reported a sport utility vehicle struck his car on State 441 near W. North Avenue, when the driver of that vehicle tried to merge into his lane. He told police he tried to get the other motorist to pull over when they got to the highway off ramp but the SUV continued to drive away and even ran a red light. He wrote down the license plate number and turned it over to police.
Battery: A youth reported a group of three kicked and punched him as he lay on the ground. The boy told police the group had offered him a ride in a car. When they arrived at Doyle Park, one of them told him he had a problem with him twice and then hit him. Two others jumped in and also hit him.
OCT. 19
Firearms: A caller parked in the 100 block of E. Main Street reported seeing a teenager remove a handgun from a shed in the 500 block of Pine Street and place it down the front of his pants. The teen then left with two other youths, heading toward Island Park. Police located the youths and found it was an Airsoft spring-operated pistol.
OCT. 12
Disorderly conduct: A caller reported seeing two youths outside a store in the 1900 block of E. Main Street, harassing one of the workers. Police warned the two boys and contacted their families.
