Acting on information from the Pulaski Police Department and Oconto County Sheriff's Department, a Green Bay police officer on patrol spotted the suspect's vehicle at 10:13 a.m. Saturday in front of the Motel 6, 1614 Shawano Ave.

The suspect was wanted for questioning related to three armed robberies and also had an active Oconto County warrant for three counts of thefts.

All nearby rooms at the Motel 6 were vacated, and the man was taken into custody without incident. Items seized from the suspect's hotel room include a .38-caliber revolver and clothing consistent with descriptions from three robberies, a camouflage hunting hat with attached mesh for face cover and gloves.

The suspect was linked to the robberies after family members informed investigators that they identified him from surveillance footage that had been released. The robberies occurred at the Brookside Shell in Pensaukee, Pulaski Food & Gas in Pulaski and North Chase Citgo in Sobieski.

In September, a report also was filed with the Oconto County Sheriff's Department listing the man as a suspect in a theft from a relative's residence in which several items, including a handgun, were stolen.

The suspect was booked in the Oconto County Jail and faces charges of two counts of theft and two counts of felony robbery. He is expected to be charged in Brown County Court with felony robbery.
