Lorraine K. Bilderback, 86, of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.

Lorraine was born in Ripon on Dec. 7, 1922, the daughter of Emil and Leona Pollesch Krueger.

She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to be the secretary to the manager of the USDA in Ripon.

On Jan. 27, 1944, she married Emmons LaVerne Bilderback at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon. Lorraine was a member of Our Saviour's U.C.C. and was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and served on the Mission Board.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret (Henry) Wendt of Ripon; one son, Thomas (Pat) Bilderback of Berlin; four grandchildren, Griffin Wendt; Megan (Chad) Mann and their son, Ethan (great-grandson); Casey (special friend, Danielle) Wendt; and Ryan (fiancée, Tyra) Wendt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, William "Bud"; one sister, Charleen Borchert; and one brother, Frederick Krueger.
