For The Reporter

JUNEAU — A 34-year old Hartford man was found unconscious in his cell area Friday at the Dodge County Detention Facility-Huber Facility in Juneau and died later at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The inmate was discovered around 2:18 p.m., according to Deputy Jail Administrator Kevin Hill.

Officers initiated life-saving measures until the Juneau EMS arrived on scene. The man was transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital, Hill noted in a press release.

The name of the inmate will not be released pending notification of family members.

There appears to be no evidence of foul play, according to the news release. The Medical Examiner's Office and the Dodge County Sheriff's Department are handling the investigation.
