Shirley Elaine Reilley, age 78, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Golden Living Center.
Shirley was born March 23, 1931 in Lake Delton, WI, to the late Ferdinand and Ella (Stienhorst) Griebel.
In 1948 Shirley graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School.
She married Lloyd Reilley April 16, 1977 at First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Shirley worked at Wonder Bread from 1967 until 1984.
She enjoyed traveling visiting Europe three times, Canada, Nova Scotia and almost every state in the union. Shirley loved spending time with family, especially camping, going on bus trips and quilting.
Survivors include her first husband, William Diehlmann of Crooked Lake; children, William (Sherry) Diehlmann of Sheboygan, Sherry (James) Parker of Sheboygan, Larry (Jackie) Diehlmann of Menomonee, WI, Terry (Bonnie) Diehlmann of Mountain, Gail (Ron) Kortbein of Larrabee, Ted (Candy) Diehlmann of TN; her second husband, Lloyd Reilley of Sheboygan; stepchildren, Matt Reilley of Sheboygan, Ann (Gary) Koeppe of Escanaba, MI, Lisa Roberts of Platteville, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Giebel of Baraboo; a sister, Darlene Haagensen of Baraboo and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Duane Giebel; stepson, Mark Reilley; and a granddaughter, Angie Diehlmann.
Family and friends may call at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday, November 9 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at First United Lutheran Church, 2401 Kohler Memorial Drive, Sheboygan. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 10 at the church with the Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Entombment to follow in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Household of Faith Fund at First United Lutheran Church.
