LTC paralegal advisory committee meets Nov. 9
Lakeshore Technical College's paralegal advisory committee will meet at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, in the Manitowoc County Training Room the Cleveland campus.
LTC's advisory committees assist the college in setting a vision for the program, maintaining relevant instruction, fostering adoption of current technology, representing local needs; define the technical knowledge needed by instructors and staff; and identify continuing education training needs.
Advisory committee meetings are open to the public.
Sheboygan Chiropractic food drive under way
Sheboygan Chiropractic and Rehab Center is participating in the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association's 2009 Helping Hands Food Drive.
Community members are invited to drop-off non-perishable food items at the clinic, 2601 S. Business Drive, Sheboygan, during business hours, Monday through Friday, though Dec. 18.
All items collected during the drive will be donated to local food pantries.
Black River celebration dinner set for Nov. 12
The Black River Advancement Association's 75th anniversary celebratory dinner will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Breaking Bread, 6451 S. Business Drive, Sheboygan.
The event is open to anyone who lives in, has lived in or has a passion for Black River, its history and preservation.
Tickets are $20 each. A cash bar will be available.

Caregiver conference in Sheboygan Falls
The Alzheimer's Association and the Dementia Care Network of Sheboygan County will host a family caregiver conference from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 730 Highway PPP, Sheboygan Falls.
The focus will be be on the importance of exercise, good nutrition and a healthy outlook for the caregiver.
