Anniversary: Gordon and Betty Buehler

Gordon Wesley and (Carol) Betty Buehler of Plymouth celebrated their 60th anniversary on Oct. 17, 2009, with a gathering of family at the couple's home after dinner at a local restaurant.

The couple was married on Oct. 15, 1949 at First Reformed Church, Cedar Grove.

The former Carol Betty Tempas was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Sheboygan. She is a homemaker.

Her husband was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Sheboygan Falls. He worked in the diecast division of Tecumseh Products until he and Betty purchased and operated the Grand Motel in Pembine, retiring in 1986.

The couple has four children, Mae (special friend Denis) Buehler of Green Bay; Julie Mauer and Dan (Amy) Buehler, both of Sheboygan Falls; and the late Gary Buehler; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
