Baughman promoted to Enreco accounts manager

Enreco, Inc., a Wisconsin provider of flaxseed ingredients to the food and nutritional products industry, has announced the promotion of Jackie Baughman to accounts manager.

Baughman joined Enreco in May as sales support administrator.

Baughman will be responsible for processing and tracking all customers' orders, fulfilling specification sheet and QC/QA certificate requests, and customer needs interactions.

Sargento Foods hires executive, promotes one

Sargento Foods Inc. announces the hiring of Elizabeth Neils as associate marketing manager in its consumer products division and the promotion of Jim Schafer to senior director of marketing in its food service division.

Neils will be responsible analyzing the business using Nielsen data, executing consumer promotion programs and tracking the marketing budget. Previously, she worked with Carlson Consulting Enterprise, Kimberly-Clark and Kohnstamm Communications. Neils earned her master's degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and her bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

Schafer joined Sargento in May, and served as a senior manager of business development. Previously, he worked with Tyson and Ocean Spray, among several other food companies. Schafer earned his master's degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. and his bachelor's degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla.

Maryanne Landwehr promoted at Acuity

Maryanne Landwehr has been promoted to manager-services commercial processing at Acuity's corporate headquarters.

Landwehr joined Acuity in October 2003 as a business systems analyst in the commercial lines department. Prior to that, she was an analyst with Fresh Brands and a customer service manager with Piggly Wiggly. Landwehr has also worked with the Random Lake School District.

Landwehr graduated magna cum laude from Marian University with a bachelor's degree in history and English. She lives in Elkhart Lake with her husband, Eric, and daughters, Krista and Tanya.

Van Horn Hyundai announces staff moves

Van Horn Hyundai has hired two new employees and promoted a third.

n John Pirwitz as a new body technician. Pirwitz has nearly a year of body experience through an apprenticeship at Van Horn Hyundai.

n David Fohr is a new lot porter. Fohr is a 2008 graduate of Plymouth High School, and originally from Illinois.

n John Harju is a new body shop manager. Harju has worked as a Van Horn Hyundai body shop technician for many years.

Dr. Nolan Hetz completes acupuncture course

Dr. Nolan Hetz, a board certified gynecologist and female health specialist in Manitowoc, has completed a four-month acupuncture training course.

The course culminated in an eight-day, hands-on acupuncture seminar in San Francisco. The course also involved lectures and direct interaction with many leaders in the field of modern medical acupuncture.

The course was sponsored by the Academy of Acupuncture and Pain Research.

Angermeier renews national certification

Kris Angermeier, a certified massage therapist and lypotherapist with Curative Therapies in Sheboygan, has met all requirements needed to renew her national certification.

The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork is an independent, private, nonprofit organization that fosters high standards of ethical and professional practice through a recognized certification program.

Angermeier has been a certified massage therapist for more than eight years.

Davis & Kuelthau promotes Westlake

Davis & Kuelthau in Milwaukee has promoted Elizabeth Westlake to firm shareholder.

Westlake has been with Davis & Kuelthau nearly three years and specializes in several areas of law including commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and non-profit.

Westlake earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and her law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Jeff Smies earns AIA education learning units

Architect Jeff Smies, president of Smies & Associates, Architects, recently attended and completed a number of education learning units for the American Institute of Architects.

Smies attended a seminar on Oct. 29 at the University of Illinois-Chicago forum called the Wood Solutions Fair. The event featured 24 different, one-hour programs.

Smies attended six sessions: "Are Green Building Programs Really Leading to Green?," "The Working Woods-Your Renewable and Sustainable Choice," "Fire Protection Principles for Wood-Framed Structures," "Reducing Moisture Problems in Commercial Buildings," "Designing the World's Tallest Modern Mixed-use Wood Building" and, "A Case Study-Podium Design in Illinois" The programs gave Smies six AIA learning units.

Bob Merriam named bank president in Appleton

Bob Merriam has been hired as the office president at Community Bank & Trust's Appleton office.

Merriam has more than 34 years in the banking industry. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has also completed the graduate school of banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Merriam is involved in several community organizations, including Neenah Rotary Club, a board member of Future Neenah Inc. and a Neenah Community Development Authority board member.

Patty Guenther joins Realty Executives office

Patty Guenther has joined the Realty Executives office at 617 N. Eighth St., Sheboygan.

Guenther is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Wisconsin Realtors Association and the Sheboygan County Board of Realtors. She will specialize in residential properties in Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Calumet Counties and the surrounding areas.

Jensema named hospitals' chief people officer

Christine F. Jensema has been named chief people officer for the HSHS Division (Eastern Wisconsin), comprised of St. Mary's and St. Vincent hospitals in Green Bay and St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. In her new role, Jensema will oversee the people services function for the division.

Jensema had served as the administrative director of people services at St. Nicholas Hospital since 1995. She also teaches as adjunct faculty at Silver Lake College.

Jensema previously held human resource positions in at M&I Bank in Sheboygan for 17 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Lakeland College and a master's degree in management and organizational development from Silver Lake College.
