Dick was born in Green Bay, on May 7, 1930, to the late Eleanor (Basche) and Richard H. Williams Sr. He attended grade school at St. Joseph's with the Class of 1946 and went on to Central Catholic High School with the graduating Class of 1950. He looked forward to all his class reunions and time with old classmates. He grew up going to his folk's cottage on Shawano Lake and loved to fish all his life. He was in the Navy Reserves from 1949 to 1953 and served in the Navy from 1953 to 1957. He started working part time in the 1940's at Bogda Motor Co. "Chevrolet Garage" and went on to work for Northern Truck Service out of Milwaukee for 18 years as a heavy duty truck parts and equipment Salesman. In the early 1970's he started his own business and spent 21 very successful years as owner/contractor of "Home Touch Remodeling and Construction", until his retirement in 1994. He was on the Board of the Suamico Harbor Commission for 10 years and a Charter member of the Howard Suamico Business and Professional Association for 19 years.

He enjoyed a life of hunting with his wife, Pat, all his children and grandchildren. He was an avid deer hunter, he traveled to Canada for Moose and also Quebec for Caribou. He and Pat spent 12 wonderful years retired at their beautiful lake home in the Northern Wisconsin Town of Presque Isle. He was a proud Green Bay Packer fan! And never let anyone talk his Packers down. He especially loved spending time and reminiscing with many wonderful friends.

Dick learned to laugh with life and put one foot in front of the other each day, without complaining about his health. He had a great sense of humor and always had that twinkle in his eyes. He enjoyed watching TV, following the space exploration, golf, history channel with old trains, wearing his flannel shirts, going out to steak dinner and chocolate anything! Age brought out his sensitive side with family hugs and appreciation to those who cared for him.

We are sure at 4 p.m. each day, he will push the cribbage board out on the table, shuffle the cards and challenge the Angels to a game...with chocolate to the winner!
