Veterans Day ceremonies set

A Veterans Day ceremony will be at 10 a.m. at Sevastopol Schools in Institute. Col. Thomas "Tim" Lawrie will speak at the event. Following the ceremony, there will be a luncheon for veterans and their family members.

Another ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Trueblood Performing Arts Center on Washington Island. Lt. Col. James P. O'Neil will speak.

The Peninsula Symphonic Band, under the direction of Paula Eggert, will present a Veterans Day concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at the corner of 18th Avenue and Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay.
