Sheboygan man injured after crashing into Harry’s Diner

A 77-year-old Sheboygan man sustained minor injuries Saturday morning after crashing his vehicle into Harry’s Diner in the Town of Sheboygan, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.

Charles Schuette was pulling up to a gas pump at about 11:40 a.m. at the Interstate Plaza, 4024 state Highway 42, when his vehicle struck another vehicle, at which point Schuette accelerated and struck the nearby diner, Lt. Mark Rupnik said.

The collision occurred near the diner’s entrance, though Schuette’s vehicle did not crash through the building’s wall.

Schuette was treated on the scene for minor cuts and released. No other injuries were reported.
