Schneiderwent, Robert "Bob"
Age 65, of Manawa, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on August 22, 1944, in New London, son of Arnold and Lucille (Theisen) Schneiderwent. Bob attended Little Wolf High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1966 and served his country during the Vietnam conflict as a medic where he received the Purple Heart. Following his time in the service, he lived in Colorado until returning to Manawa in 1990. After returning to Colorado, he moved back to Manawa in 2006. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets MC USA. Bob owned and operated Betty-Bob's Bar in Symco from 1989 until 1998. He loved to travel and especially ride his Harley.
Robert is survived by his children: Richard Schneiderwent and Tami (Bryan) Wilkening; four grandchildren; his father: Arnold; brothers and sisters: Dar (Brad) Heller, Pat (Bill) Gray, Butch (Deb) Schneiderwent, Tom (Darlene) Schneiderwent, Tim (Mary) Schneiderwent, Jan (Randy) Wege, Sharon (Ron) Olmsted.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty; mother, Lucille; and brother, Dick.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Phil's Stil in Northport, WI. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa, is assisting the family.
