William 'Bill' Northcott
William "Bill" Northcott, 69, Wittenberg, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at his home.
Bill was a U.S. Army veteran. Bill was a truck driver and previously worked for Kraft Foods, Wausau. He most recently owned and operated Shadyview Supper Club, Bowler.
Survivors include his wife, Janice (Zeinert) Northcott, Wittenberg; his children, William (Angie) Northcott, Eleva, Donald Northcott, Teri (Karl) Kelly, Rodney Northcott, Brian (Peg) Bessette and James (Maricela) Bessette, all of Wausau, Victor Northcott, Grand Rapids, Mich., Craig (Shelly) Bessette, Cross Plains, Kari (Doug) Weisahahn, New London, Kristi (Phil) Harms, Belleville, and MSGT Andrew Bessette, Peer, Belgium; 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annis Poulliun, Fontana, Calif., and Shirley Salyer, Alpaugh, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with military rites conducted by the Bloecher-Johnson American Legion Post No. 502, Wittenberg. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church.
