Fishing supplies donated

Contributed photo

The Marshfield area troop and family support committee donates 10 sets of fishing rods and reels, fishing line and hooks, along with 500-minute phone cards for each of the soldiers to Karen Schmidt, Family Readiness Group leader, for A battery 1/120 Field artillery from Marshfield currently stationed in Iraq. The money came from a fund drive that was held prior to the unit's departure in February. The unit is scheduled to be back early in 2010. Pictured are Pattie Kelnhofer, local Red Cross director, from left, Schmidt, Jim Reigel Post 54 Troop and Family Support chairman and Past State Commander for the American Legion.
