Sheriff's Report for Nov. 4
Between 6 and 10 a.m. Oct. 4, Wayde Vikimyr reported two cell phones were stolen from his vehicle parked at the Forestville Dam.
At 4:52 p.m. Oct. 14, Justice S. Engelking, 17, of Forestville was injured while riding a motorcycle in a cornfield by the intersection of County X and Elder Road. The incident was reported to the Department of Natural Resources. Landowner Clifford Kroening said he did not give Engelking permission to be on his property. The motorcycle was not registered, and Engelking was cited for operating with a suspended license. He was taken by ambulance to Door County Memorial Hospital.
On Oct. 16, Lisa Warner, 5337 County TT of Sturgeon Bay reported someone broke the rear window of her Dodge Ram 2500 truck between 4 and 4:30 p.m. The damage appeared to be caused by a BB gun that made a tiny hole, shattering the window.
On Oct. 16, an attempted break-in was reported at the vacant home owned by Michael Till, 12326 Timberline Road in the town of Liberty Grove. A bent window screen was found on the ground near the front door with the mesh torn away. The real estate agent checked the interior and said the inside of the home was undisturbed.
On Oct. 18, John Bunda reported damage to the taillights, trunk and bumper of his convertible parked at the end of his driveway at 10757 N. Bayshore Drive in the village of Sister Bay. Damage is estimated to be $1,000.
