Tree pruning to begin in Sturgeon Bay

As the weather permits, the city of Sturgeon Bay Street Department will trim trees in order to maintain the desired clearance to all roadways, sidewalks and alleyways, said municipal services Superintendent Bob Bordeau.

Property owners who want to trim their own trees can contact the Public Works Department at (920) 746-2912 and will be asked to adhere to the city's specifications.

Trimming by the city will include brush removal. Property owners who prune their trees will be responsible for disposing of their brush by taking it to the city compost site on Division Road.
