A 32-year-old Oostburg man was charged Tuesday with his fifth drunken driving offense after a sheriff’s deputy pulled him over for driving with a revoked license.

David L. Dyke, of W3706 Highway A, faces a maximum of nearly five years in prison on the felony operating while intoxicated charge and misdemeanor counts of second-offense operating after revocation and bail jumping.

According to a criminal complaint:

A Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department deputy ran the plates on Dyke’s vehicle as he drove through Random Lake on Monday night and discovered his driver’s license was revoked. The deputy spotted alcohol in the car and asked Dyke to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

A preliminary breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.069, well above the 0.02 limit for drivers with three or more prior offenses.
