Breanna Mayer and Eric Ries, both of Pleasant Prairie, were married Aug. 1, 2009, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Sheboygan.

Parents of the couple are Ralph and Donna Mayer and Thomas and Marilyn Ries, all of Sheboygan.

Maid of honor was Maria Jaberg. Bridesmaids were Megan Guenther, Alyssa Tess, Elizabeth Buffington, Cheri Munnik and Jenessa Mayer.

Best man was Cullen Werwie. Groomsmen were Scott Stalter, Brian Ries, Michael Ries, Nicholas Mayer and Jordan Mayer. Ushers were Justin Richer and Tobias Zutz.

A reception for the couple was held at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Sheboygan Falls. The couple honeymooned in Jamaica.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree from St. Norbert College, De Pere, in 2007, and a master's degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2009. She is a physician's assistant at The Woods Clinic.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. He is a Web applications developer at Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee.

The couple lives in Pleasant Prairie.
