MADISON — State Rep. Ted Zigmunt, D-Francis Creek, has announced that his Web site will more frequently seek comments from constituents on issues of concern to Wisconsin.
Zigmunt, who was elected in the 2008 election, has been receiving constituent input through the Web page's "Online Opinions" feature. The informal survey had been asking multiple questions that remained on the site for several weeks at a time. The change in format involves asking a question that will be rotated more often.
Earlier questionnaires have asked opinions on such topics as health care, nuclear power, proposed state taxes on beer and wind turbine siting.
"I am glad that my constituents have been finding my Web site helpful and have been weighing in on matters up for consideration in the Legislature," Zigmunt said. "I look forward to hearing from more of them on more issues in the weeks and months to come."
Second state Assembly District constituents can participate by accessing www.legis.wisconsin.gov/ assembly/asm02/news/ and clicking on the "Online Opinions" button along the left side of the page.
