Info sought in armed robbery in Chase

CHASE — Police are asking for help in identifying a man involved in the armed robbery of a gas station Friday morning.

The Oconto County Sheriff's Department reported that at 5 a.m. a man wearing a face mask and carrying a handgun entered the North Chase Citgo Convenience Store, 7786 Oconto County S, Sheriff Michael Jansen said. An unknown amount of cash was taken, he said.

The suspect is described as 6-foot, 220 pounds, wearing dark-colored pants and a camouflage jacket.

The Sheriff's Department is investigating whether the incident is related to two other recent armed robberies.
