TWO RIVERS — Jacob C. Mathiesen, 27, 12819 Wisconsin 42, Apt. B, Mishicot, was arrested Oct. 23 for operating while intoxicated with a child under 16 in the vehicle, and also cited for following too closely after an accident that occurred on Lincoln Avenue at about 1:20 p.m., according to the Two Rivers Police Department.

According to the accident report, Jerry W. Klein, 68, of 2001 Markham St., Manitowoc, was northbound on Lincoln Avenue when he stopped to turn west onto 30th St.

Mathiesen, driving a 1997 Ford Escort LX, allegedly failed to stop and rear-ended Klein's 2000 Grand Caravan.

The Caravan sustained bumper damage, and there was severe front-end damage to the Escort, according to the report. No injuries were reported.
