Area businesses will participate in an "in-costume" Halloween trick-or-treat safe walk for children from 1 to 4 p.m. today.
Participating businesses will display a Halloween poster and have plenty of treats to share.
Safe walk participants will be: Double Delites, Dovetail Gallery, Gomy's Goodies, Greens 'N' Grains, Jane's Designs for Women, Liberty Square Shops, Main Street Market, Main Street Shops, Cinnamon Windmill, Made in Britain, Tis the Season, Maxwell's House, Mojo Rosa's, Something Fishy, Sommer Stad, The Landing Resort and The Newport Resort.
Mojo Rosa's will give any child age 12 and younger a kids' meal to eat if they come in costume.
The Landing Resort will have a haunted house in its lobby loft area.
