Rassele 'Ray' Bradley

Rassele "Ray" Bradley, age 74, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Markesan Resident Home. He was born on July 31, 1935 in Elgin, IL a son of Russell and Edna (Styvascent) Bradley. Ray married Gloria J. Ziegler on January 26, 1957 in Elgin. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged on June 24, 1962. Mr. Bradley worked for the former Stock Lumber Company in Princeton. Ray loved to bass fish. He also enjoyed hunting and walking.

Ray is survived by 3 children, Thomas T. (Betty) Bradley of Princeton, Daniel J. (Colleen) Bradley of Baraboo, Sandra R. (Dan) Zodrow of Princeton; 7 grandchildren, Nick Bradley, Quintin Bradley, Brian Schaaf, Megan Zodrow, Kelsey Zodrow, Rachel Bradley, Allison Bradley; 2 sisters, Nancy (Mick) Cooper of Glendale, AZ, Cathy (Herschel) Cowsert of Mounds, IL; 2 brothers, Don (Jane) Bradley of Vienna, IL, Richard (Mary) Bradley of Surry, Maine; sister-in-law, Sharon Ziegler of South Elgin, IL; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Gloria.

Ray wished to be cremated. A celebration of life for Rassele "Ray" Bradley will take place on Monday, November 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home in Princeton.
