Namiko 'Nikki' Satterburg
Namiko "Nikki" Satterburg, age 84, of 1514 George St., Manitowoc, died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Solari Hospice Care Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
Namiko was born on Feb. 6, 1925, in Osaka, Japan, daughter of the late Wasah Nishigawa. She worked for many years at Mirro Aluminum Company until her retirement in 1995. Namiko enjoyed knitting, crafts, sewing, walking and playing bingo.
Survivors include six children: George Satterburg, Las Vegas, Nev.; CL Satterburg, Manitowoc; John and Linda Satterburg, Two Rivers; Robert and Billie Jo Satterburg, Las Vegas, Nev.; Norma and Phil Ordiway, Manitowoc; Debbie Reece, Tulsa, Okla.; son-in-law: Sam Reece, Okla.; seven grandchildren: Nigel (Nicole) Ordiway, Manitowoc; Jarek Ordiway and his fiancée Erica Mueller, Manitowoc; Christopher (Carie) Satterburg, Francis Creek; Jeffrey (Erin) Satterburg, Kohler; Jeremy (Amber) Satterburg, Waupaca; Edward (Ryan) Hamamura, Las Vegas; DeeDee (James) Brooks, Las Vegas; seven great-grandchildren: Sakkara Ordiway; Aria Ordiway; Erin Rozz; Savanna Satterburg; Maria Satterburg; Jaden Hamamura; James Brooks. She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband: Werner C.L. Satterburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
