Magdanz, Lee E.

Lee E. Magdanz, 73, born April 15, 1936, in Pierce, NE, the son of Elmer and Dorothy (Cones) Magdanz and died October 13, 2009, in Green Bay. He received his BA and MA in art education from Colorado State University. Lee taught on various educational levels both domestically and in the Dominican Republic. He owned his own pottery production studio in North Carolina having his work reviewed in Southern Living and other professional journals.

Lee is survived by his wife, Miguelina; sons, Gregory (Morgan) and Patrick (Christie) Magdanz; grandsons, Tyler, Sam and Jackson Magdanz; granddaughter, Caitlin Magdanz; stepdaughters, Melissa (Jason) Robinson and Vanessa (Brian) Whitaker and their families; sister: Virginia Hayes of Appleton; niece, Mary Hayes of Greenville; nephew, Doug (Julie) Hayes and their children Lauren and Erin all of Eau Claire.

Memorial mass was held in the Dominican Republic. Memorial service in Raleigh, NC, Sunday, November 1 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 2:30 p.m. Interment at a later date in Pierce, NE. MALCORE Funeral Home, Green Bay, is serving the family.
