It's Your Call
UNINSURED: I am following the health care reform act for various reasons, some being personal. I have regenerative heart issues and was put on permanent disability in March. I have to wait two years to get Medicare. I am not longer eligible for Badger Care and have been turned down by every insurance company, even though I am willing to pay the $800 a month for individual coverage. This doesn't include dental and there is a $5,000 deductible. I'm not alone. If you have private company-paid insurance, the government bill states that it is not trying to take it away and make you take a different plan. Company fines would be imposed if your employer refused all or partial coverage. But what about others? Please look at all circumstances before making up your minds.

NATURAL MILK: Thank you, Post-Crescent, for your opinion that selling unpasteurized cow's milk should be legal. It's no surprise that a society so divorced from the currents of nature would make buying fresh milk from Grandma and Grandpa illegal. When we finish rebuilding Afghanistan's economy and infrastructure, let's bring the National Guard home to another tour of duty on rural county roads busting Aunt B with her illegal contraband --- Bessie's sweet cow milk.
