National certification for Unity nurses

Members of the nursing staff at Ledgeview-based Unity hospice and palliative care recently achieved national certification or recertification from the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.

Licensed practical nurses Lisa Hanneman of Gillett and Kelly Palmer of Green Bay achieved recognition as Certified Hospice and Palliative Licensed Nurses.

Registered nurses Maribeth Braspennickx of Howard, June Henjum of De Pere and Sharon Bodart, Michelle Krueger, Midge Pelch and Melody Sims-Ohnesorge, all of Green Bay, achieved recognition as Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurses.

Braspennickx, Henjum and Pelch earned recertification through the testing process.
