Halloween howls at Ripon Public Library

For The Reporter

RIPON — As an extension of Tiny Terror on the Square, Ripon Public Library will host a movie at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Silver Creek Room.

Though the title of the movie remains a surprise, children's librarian Linda DeCramer says it's a beloved story about a "friendly" ghost recommended for ages 6 and up. Popcorn will be served.

The library also will present storyteller Sagiia Rae at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 31. Rae will share ever-so-slightly scary stories with preschool and school-age children. Children are invited to attend in costume.

All who attend these programs are encouraged to donate a nonperishable food item for the local food pantry. Everyone who donates will be entered into a prize drawing for free books.

These programs are free and do not require registration. For more information contact DeCramer at 748-6160 or decramer@riponlibrar.org.
