James N. DeFord, age 59, of East Bernard, TX, formerly of Oshkosh, died Friday, October 23, 2009. He was born and raised in Oshkosh.

Survived by wife Darla (Goerlitz); son James DeFord IV; stepdaughter Amy Molbert; granddaughter Brittany; brothers Tom (Cindy) DeFord and Dave DeFord; sisters Pat Guethlein, Carol Panke, Diane (Jeff) Paulsen, Joann (Kevin) Gehrt; many relatives and friends. A private memorial will be held by the family Tuesday, Oct. 27 2009.
