WAUPACA — More than 200 students from the Waupaca area will take the stage to present “The Sound of Music” beginning Sunday in the Performing Arts Center at Waupaca High School. Performances will be held at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3, Nov. 5 and Nov. 7.

Presented by Waupaca High School, the show features performers from every school in the Waupaca community — with the Von Trapp children being played by students from Waupaca Middle School, Waupaca Learning Center, First Baptist Christian School and Immanuel Lutheran School, said director Dan Wolfgram.

Tickets are $8. A 50-percent senior citizen discount will be offered for the Sunday and Tuesday performances. For tickets, call Lenora Abrams at 715-258-4131 ext. 1001.
