Larsen man, 52, injured in fall from tree stand in Winnebago County near Appleton

WINCHESTER — A 52-year-old Larsen man suffered injuries police said were not life-threatening after falling from a tree stand Sunday.

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department was called to the incident in a wooded area near Thompson Road in the Town of Winchester just before 6 p.m. It said the man fell out of his deer stand, which was 12 feet above the ground.

He was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah by ThedaStar helicopter.
