Rogersville St. Stephen's Lutheran Church (Rogersville) Annual Chili Supper, sponsored by the St. Stephen's Men in Mission and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, is scheduled 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the church, N5680 Towne Road (corner of County Trunks T and C), Rosendale.
The "all-you-can-eat" menu consists of chili, cheese, crackers, rye and white bread, butter, dessert and beverage. Carryouts will be available. There will be a freewill offering.
Rosendale-Brandon Schools The Rosendale-Brandon School District School Board will meet at 7 p.m. today in the Rosendale Primary Board Room, 300 W. Wisconsin St., Rosendale.
The National Honor Society Induction and Reception will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the Laconia High School auditorium and cafeteria, 301 W. Division St., Rosendale.
The 11th annual Just Jazz Concert, under the direction of Mark Pieplow, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Laconia High School auditorium, 301 W. Division St., Rosendale.
Fall Sports Award Night is scheduled at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Laconia High School auditorium, 301 W. Division St.
The Brandon School Book Fair will be held on school days starting Monday, Nov. 16, through Wednesday, Nov. 25, and during parent events in the evenings at the school, 200 W. Bowen St., Brandon.
Students of the Month Laconia High School — Laconia High School Students of the Month for September are senior Sarah Riedeman and freshman Benjamin Zimmer.
Brandon School — The following September Spartans of the Month (and their teachers) from each elementary classroom were recognized during an assembly held Oct. 2 in the Brandon School auditorium. Nominations were based on the character trait integrity.
Kindergarten — Chas Glewen and Eve Williams (Torrie Grade).
First Grade — Tate Kimble (Mary Gillett); Sawyer Hau and Cade Slager (Sandy Kuik).
Second Grade — Brianna Schmitt and Logan Smit (Lynn Alsum); Anna Bartz (Jeanne Trew).
Third Grade — Samuel Ford (Eric Bartelme); Chase Hoinacki (Mark Getz).
Fourth Grade — Trevin Henker (Julie VandeBerg).
Fifth Grade — Celeste Olivares (Jessica Buteyn); Joshua Yates (Mike Miller).
At a separate assembly on Oct. 5, the following middle school students were named Spartans of the Month for September: Briana Bartz, Grade 6; Lindsay Respalje, Grade 7; and Hannah Tetzlaff, Grade 8.
Rosendale Intermediate School — Eighth-graders Lindsey Frieler, seventh-grader Daniel Behnke, and sixth-grader Lawrence Brock-Ndlovu are the September Rosendale Intermediate School Students of the Month.
The students were recognized Sept. 30 at a school assembly, where they were awarded a certificate and a $2 bill; and they had lunch with Principal John Hokenson at Tabbert's Restaurant on Oct. 2.
Rosendale Rosendale Senior Card Players will play Sheepshead from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Municipal Building, 211 N. Grant St.
Tower View Villa — The public is welcome to attend any of the upcoming group events sponsored by Tower View Villa, 401 N. Grant St.:
Free Community Bingo: 2 p.m. today, Oct. 26.
Senior Citizen Coffee Clutch: 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Nov. 4 and 11. Rosendale Lions provide the coffee and doughnuts for village residents every fourth Wednesday.
Halloween party: 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The party will include games, music, and refreshments. Residents will welcome trick-or-treaters during the Rosendale community trick-or-treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Veterans Day service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 — A special service to honor resident veterans.
Dog visit: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 — Brian and Carol Wilson will present their adopted retired greyhound racing dogs.
Brandon A Pancake/Sausage Supper and Bake Sale will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today at Brandon United Methodist Church, 107 Washington St.
Brandon Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Village Office, 115 N. Center St.
The 11th annual Veterans Day commemoration will begin at 9:30 a.m., weather permitting, Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Brandon School, 200 W. Bowen St., Brandon, with a parachute delivery of a 12-foot by 18-foot American flag in honor of all American veterans. Skydive Adventure, Omro, will provide the skydiver.
Wisconsin District 6 Rep. Tom Petri will be the keynote speaker for the indoor program that will follow.
The program includes musical selections performed by the middle school band under the direction of Crystal Hardtke; musical tributes to American veterans by all Brandon School classes under the direction of Tammy VandeBerg and Ben Vis; and presentations by middle school classes honoring the history and the significance of American presidents who are veterans, which is this year's program theme.
Brandon-Fairwater American Legion Post 378 will serve as the honor guard and firing squad.
All area residents and all veterans are invited to attend.
Eldorado The next Town of Eldorado Board meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Eldorado Community Hall, N7664 County Trunk C.
Sheepshead (Jack of Diamonds) will be played at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Community Hall, N7664 County Trunk C. The fee is $1, and prizes will be awarded. Everyone is welcome.
Fairwater Fairwater area families are invited to celebrate Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31, with the Lions and Friends of Fairwater. Following trick-or-treating from 2 to 4 p.m., youngsters in costume can hop on a hay wagon for a ride through the village to the Civic Center, where the Lions will provide pizza and the Friends will host games, prizes, and a bonfire from 4 p.m. to dark. In the event of snow, bring sleds.
The Fairwater Lions will host its annual Seniors Dinner beginning at noon Saturday, Nov. 7. at the Lions Building, 106 S. Main St. The community is invited to join the Lions for an early Thanksgiving dinner.
Following dessert, the Friends of Fairwater will sponsor an afternoon of cards and other games for all area residents at the Lions Club.
The Fairwater Village Board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Civic Center, 104 S. Main St.
