Fundraisers as of Oct. 25

Mission Market

First Presbyterian Church of Neenah, 200 N. Church St., invites the public to worship, browse, shop and have lunch from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Original art, crafts, textiles and edibles will be sold, and visitors can bid on theme baskets. Proceeds assist the SPY youth group mission trips. Use the Doty Street entrance.

Dinner and bazaar

St. John's Annual Dinner and Bazaar takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at St. John Lutheran Church, County KK, Weyauwega. The menu includes chicken and ham, mashed potatoes, salad bar, vegetable, rolls, homemade pies, bars and beverage. The cost is $8 adults, $4 ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. Carry-outs are available.

Lily's Pad benefit

The Toto Endowment will host a fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Clubhouse Restaurant, 1330 Ware St., Waupaca, to underwrite the cost and installation of an outdoor dog run concrete pad at the Humane Society of Waupaca County. The event features a silent auction of art, designer handbags, collectible jewelry and gift baskets; Mexican hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $20. Salad luncheon

The Ladies of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Kaukauna, hold their annual salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the Social Hall at the St. Aloysius site, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna. A variety of salads, homemade breads, desserts and beverage are included for the price of $5 adults, $2.50 ages 5-12 and free for ages 4 and under. St. Aloysius site is handicapped accessible form the north and south parking lots.

Rummage sales

  • St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 415 S. Main St., Waupaca; rummage sale with antiques, children's clothing, housewares and miscellaneous items and bake sale, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

  • Trinity Lutheran Church, 206 E. Badger St., Waupaca, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Sponsored by Trinity Lutheran Church Women's Missions For Trinity Youth with supplemental funding from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Southern Waupaca County Branch #30077.

  • St. Gabriel Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, rummage and bake sale, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday; $3 bag sale on Saturday.

    Arts and craft sale

    The fourth annual arts and craft sale takes place from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Appleton Christian School, 614 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Proceeds benefit the Caneille Regional Development Fund, a nonprofit that aids the people of rural Haiti. Contact: Rebecca Zornow, 920-450-6780.

    Health fair

    Emanuel Lutheran Church and School, 200 E. Quincy St., New London, will host a health fair from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in conjunction with the Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation. Presentations begin at 9:15 a.m., and attendees can register for up to three 45-minute presentations on 11 topics including anxiety and stress, exercise, raising healthy children, dental prevention, men's health issues, natural living, osteoarthritis and joint replacement, spinal health, kids and drugs, erectile dysfunction and tobacco. The following free health screenings will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis: cholesterol, glucose, PSA, body mass index, pulmonary capacity, bone density, foot scan and memory. Unused prescription medications in their original containers with names crossed out can be brought in for proper disposal. Health fair tickets are $15 per person or $20 per couple. Registration forms are available at local merchants and New London municipal buildings and may be mailed or delivered with the registration fee to Emanuel Lutheran Church.     Craft fair

    The seventh annual holiday craft fair, sponsored by the Kaukauna Boys Hoops Club, takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at Kaukauna High School, 1701 County CE, Kaukauna. The event includes lunch, refreshments, bakery, raffle and music by a Celtic harpist.
