The Waupaca program describing the self-directed care option known as IRIS takes place from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Waupaca County Courthouse, 811 Harding St. The Appleton-area session is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Valley Packaging Industries, 3375 W. Brewster St. People attending the Grand Chute session should make reservations at 920-832-4931.

The conversion to the state's redesigned programs begins in Outagamie in April, and Waupaca in July.

The change will require consumers to choose from long-term care options including the state's new Family Care and Partnership programs, existing Medicaid card coverage, and IRIS.
